She is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Orlando, Florida. Ever the people person, she knew she wanted a career helping people achieve their goals through creative project development and flawless execution of promotional events. She studied at the University of Central Florida, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Organizational Communication and a minor in Marketing. While in college, she started her event planning career, working for the Marketing Department at Oviedo Marketplace, a large retail center in Oviedo, Florida. There, she developed an appreciation for the impact of a well-planned and soundly-executed event, and she began her career in event planning and planned events on a daily basis. She also served as the Marketing Manager for the Campus Activities Board, which oversaw all of the University’s Homecoming Events and Activities for both students and Alumni.
After graduating from college, she served as the Marketing Director at Macon Mall, a retail shopping center in Macon, Georgia with over 1.4 million square feet and over 10 million annual visitors. There, she honed her skills as an all-around event planner, planning events of any size and budget. She was named Marketing Manager of the Year by the Central Georgia Advertising Federation in recognition of her high quality, out-of-the-box event planning. Kelly next served as the Assistant Marketing Director for Prime Outlets International in Orlando, Florida, where her event planning duties included coordinating all of its Grand Re-Opening festivities, celebrating a $250 million reconstruction and rejuvenation project, as well as the national rebranding of the shopping center. While living in Macon, Georgia, she planned her own destination wedding, a 150-person affair on the shores of Anna Maria Island, Florida.
After marrying her husband Alan, a JAG Officer in the United States Navy, the couple moved to Seattle, Washington, where she worked as the Event Marketing Manager at Renewal by Anderson. She coordinated the company’s first ever community outreach, which included direct marketing, event planning, and corporate sponsorship. And, of course, she was always tapped to plan Renewal’s annual Holiday Party. While living in Seattle, Washington, she coordinated her 10 Year High School Reunion in Orlando, Florida, a 150-person weekend-long event with the theme, “Rock Star Chic.”
In over 12 years of event planning, Kelly has planned, developed, and executed over 1,200 events, ranging from tens of attendees with hundreds of dollars in budget to thousands of attendees with tens of thousands of dollars in budget. She has planned events in dozens of cities throughout Florida, Georgia, the Pacific Northwest, and the Eastern Seaboard. She lives with her husband, Alan, and their dog, Murphy. Her vision is a world where each bride and groom’s wedding is a perfectly-planned event that the couple will cherish forever. Her passion is to provide stress-free wedding planning, where attention to detail is a commitment, for brides and grooms who deserve the matrimonal memories of a lifetime.

My favorite place is either New York City or anywhere with a beach...I know, I couldn't be more opposite!

My favorite indulgence is eating pomegranate frozen yogurt with dark chocolate chips, but when I can't get that I like to indulge in a day at the spa or time spent watching HGTV, Bravo, Food Network or WE...the best in real reality television.

I want to visit the world, but more specifically Italy, Greece and Australia

My Favorite Wedding Blogs are thebrokeassbride.com and blisseventgroup.net.  I love both of these blogs for their amazing ideas and photos.  Broke Ass Bride is perfect for brides on a budget that don't want to sacrifice the look and feel of their wedding because of money, or lack there of.  Bliss Events is the quintessential southern wedding blog and has great ideas and inspiration boards based on all thing southern, from food to style to even traditions...they cover it all.

My Favorite Wedding Venue is a tie...Old Town Manor for smaller weddings and Casa Marina for larger weddings.  Old Town Manor is perfect for a small wedding because you get the ambiance of being in your backyard surrounded by your closest family and friends...very shabby chic.  Casa Marina is beautiful for larger weddings complete with a perfect ceremony location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  The hotel grounds are breathtaking and perfect for photos.  It has a very old-Florida feel and is perfect for the bride looking for a classic feel.

I love to SHOP!  I also love to spend time with my amazing friends, sorority sisters (Theta Love) and family and of course, plan tons parties for all of these fabulous people!

I love my husband Alan and our dog, Murphy and our amazing life in Key West.

My idea of a dream wedding is to have your toes in the sand, hand in hand with the one you love and be surrounded by your friends and family, followed by a dinner under a cabana-syle tent, complete with chandeliers, with your favorite comfort foods served with a twist.   This, of course, will be followed by hours and hours of dancing and celebrating!

My favorite color combo is black and white with a pop of bright color (lime, coral, aqua)

My Style is classic, cool and chic

I cannot live without my iPhone (it's addicting!)
